About the Group
In all its activities, Tangaroa has emphasised that PPW management requires deep understanding of environmental factors as well as heritage management and engineering expertise. This Working Group focuses on PPWs as a factor in the marine environment and acts as a source of expert advice to Tangaroa on environmental matters to ensure that all aspects of the programme are informed by expert knowledge. It also identifies topics for major research proposals to further understanding of PPWs and their environmental impact.
